Psalm 131

NIV

CJB

1 My heart is not proud, LORD, my eyes are not haughty; I do not concern myself with great matters or things too wonderful for me.
1 A song of ascents. By David: ADONAI, my heart isn't proud; I don't set my sight too high, I don't take part in great affairs or in wonders far beyond me.
2 But I have calmed and quieted myself, I am like a weaned child with its mother; like a weaned child I am content.
2 No, I keep myself calm and quiet, like a little child on its mother's lap -I keep myself like a little child.
3 Israel, put your hope in the LORD both now and forevermore.
3 Isra'el, put your hope in ADONAI from now on and forever!
