1 Save me, O God! Lord, help me now!

<<For the Chief Musician. By David. A reminder.>> Hurry, God, to deliver me. Come quickly to help me, Yahweh.
2 May those who try to kill me be defeated and confused. May those who are happy because of my troubles be turned back and disgraced.

Let them be put to shame and confounded who seek my soul. Let those who desire my ruin be turned back in disgrace.
3 May those who make fun of me be dismayed by their defeat.

Let them be turned because of their shame Who say, "Aha! Aha!"
4 May all who come to you be glad and joyful. May all who are thankful for your salvation always say, "How great is God!"

Let all those who seek you rejoice and be glad in you. Let those who love your salvation continually say, "Let God be exalted!"
5 I am weak and poor; come to me quickly, O God. You are my savior and my Lord - hurry to my aid!

But I am poor and needy. Come to me quickly, God. You are my help and my deliverer, Yahweh, don't delay.
