1 ADONAI is king, robed in majesty; ADONAI is robed, girded with strength; The world is well established; it cannot be moved.

The LORD reigneth, he is clothed with majesty; the LORD is clothed with strength, wherewith he hath girded himself: the world also is stablished, that it cannot be moved.
2 Your throne was established long ago; you have existed forever.

Thy throne is established of old: thou art from everlasting.
3 ADONAI, the deep is raising up, the deep is raising up its voice, the deep is raising its crashing waves.

The floods have lifted up, O LORD, the floods have lifted up their voice; the floods lift up their waves.
4 More than the sound of rushing waters or the mighty breakers of the sea, ADONAI on high is mighty.

The LORD on high is mightier than the noise of many waters, yea, than the mighty waves of the sea.
5 Your instructions are very sure; holiness befits your house, ADONAI, for all time to come.

Thy testimonies are very sure: holiness becometh thine house, O LORD, for ever.
