21 (Shir HaMa’alot) I will lift up mine eyes unto the harim (hills), from whence cometh ezri (my help).
2 Mon secours vient de l'Éternel, qui a fait les cieux et la terre.

Ezri (my help) cometh from Hashem, Oseh Shomayim v’Aretz.
3 Il ne permettra pas que ton pied chancelle; celui qui te garde ne sommeillera point.

He will not allow thy regel to slip; He that is shomer over thee will not slumber.
4 Voici, celui qui garde Israël ne sommeillera point, et ne s'endormira point.

Hinei, He that is shomer over Yisroel shall neither slumber nor sleep.
5 L'Éternel est celui qui te garde; l'Éternel est ton ombre; il est à ta main droite.

Hashem is the One shomer over thee; Hashem is thy shade upon thy right hand.
6 Le soleil ne te frappera point pendant le jour, ni la lune pendant la nuit.

The shemesh shall not strike thee by day, nor the yarei’ach by night.
7 L'Éternel te gardera de tout mal; il gardera ton âme.

Hashem shall preserve thee from kol rah; He shall preserve thy nefesh.
8 L'Éternel gardera ta sortie et ton entrée, dès maintenant et à toujours.

Hashem shall be shomer over thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even v’ad olam.
