1 Psaume de David. Éternel, fais-moi justice! Car je marche dans mon intégrité; je mets ma confiance en l'Éternel, je ne chancelle point.

6 (Of Dovid) Vindicate me, Hashem; for I have walked in mine tohm (guilelessness); I have trusted also in Hashem without wavering.
2 Éternel, sonde-moi et m'éprouve; examine mes reins et mon cœur!

Examine me, Hashem, and prove me; try my heart and my mind.
3 Car ta bonté est devant mes yeux, et je marche dans ta vérité.

For Thy chesed is before mine eyes; and I have walked in Thy emes.
4 Je ne m'assieds point avec les hommes faux; je ne vais point avec les gens dissimulés.

I do not sit with meteishav (men of vanity), neither will I go in with dissemblers.
5 Je hais l'assemblée des hommes pervers, et je ne m'assieds point avec les méchants.

I have hated the kehal mere’im (congregation of evil doers); and will not sit with the resha’im.
6 Je lave mes mains dans l'innocence, et je fais le tour de ton autel, ô Éternel!

I will wash mine hands in nikkayon (innocency, cleanness, freedom from punishment); so will I encompass Thine Mizbe’ach, Hashem;
7 Pour éclater en voix d'actions de grâces, et pour raconter toutes tes merveilles.

That I may publish with the voice of todah, and tell of all Thy wondrous works.
8 Éternel! j'aime le séjour de ta maison, le lieu où ta gloire habite.

Hashem, I have loved the ma’on of Thy Bais [HaMikdash], and the Mishkan where Thine kavod dwelleth.
9 N'enlève pas mon âme avec les pécheurs, ni ma vie avec les hommes sanguinaires,

Take not away my nefesh with chatta’im (sinners), nor my Chai (life) with anshei damim;
10 Qui ont le crime dans leurs mains, et dont la droite est pleine de présents.

In whose hands is zimmah (wicked plans), and their right hand is full of shochad (bribery).
11 Mais moi je marche dans mon intégrité; délivre-moi; aie pitié de moi!

But as for me, I will walk in mine integrity; redeem me, v’chaneini (and be merciful and gracious unto me).
12 Mon pied se tient ferme dans le droit chemin. Je bénirai l'Éternel dans les assemblées.

My regel standeth on level ground; in the great assemblies unto Hashem will I render brocha.
