Titus 3:9-15

ESV 9 But avoid foolish controversies, genealogies, dissensions, and quarrels about the law, for they are unprofitable and worthless. MSG 9 Stay away from mindless, pointless quarreling over genealogies and fine print in the law code. That gets you nowhere. ESV 10 As for a person who stirs up division, after warning him once and then twice, have nothing more to do with him, MSG 10 Warn a quarrelsome person once or twice, but then be done with him. ESV 11 knowing that such a person is warped and sinful; he is self-condemned. MSG 11 It's obvious that such a person is out of line, rebellious against God. By persisting in divisiveness he cuts himself off. ESV 12 When I send Artemas or Tychicus to you, do your best to come to me at Nicopolis, for I have decided to spend the winter there. MSG 12 As soon as I send either Artemas or Tychicus to you, come immediately and meet me in Nicopolis. I've decided to spend the winter there. ESV 13 Do your best to speed Zenas the lawyer and Apollos on their way; see that they lack nothing. MSG 13 Give Zenas the lawyer and Apollos a hearty send-off. Take good care of them. ESV 14 And let our people learn to devote themselves to good works, so as to help cases of urgent need, and not be unfruitful. MSG 14 Our people have to learn to be diligent in their work so that all necessities are met (especially among the needy) and they don't end up with nothing to show for their lives. ESV 15 All who are with me send greetings to you. Greet those who love us in the faith. Grace be with you all. MSG 15 All here want to be remembered to you. Say hello to our friends in the faith. Grace to all of you.
