The angel answered, “The HolySpirit will come on you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. So the holy one to be born will be called the Son of God.

If you then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give the HolySpirit to those who ask him!”

Whenever you are arrested and brought to trial, do not worry beforehand about what to say. Just say whatever is given you at the time, for it is not you speaking, but the HolySpirit.

Anyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man will be forgiven, but anyone who speaks against the HolySpirit will not be forgiven, either in this age or in the age to come.

for he will be great in the sight of the Lord. He is never to take wine or other fermented drink, and he will be filled with the HolySpirit even before he is born.
