Now the third day1 was Pharaoh's birthday,2 and he gave a feast for all his officials.3 He lifted up the heads of the chief cupbearer and the chief baker4 in the presence of his officials:

He restored the chief cupbearer5 to his position,6 so that he once again put the cup into Pharaoh's hand,7

but he hangeda the chief baker,8 just as Joseph had said to them in his interpretation.9
23
The chief cupbearer, however, did not remember Joseph; he forgot him.10
