The second woe (h ouai h deutera) is the sixth trumpet ( Romans 9:12 ) with the two episodes attached ( Romans 10:1-11:13 ). The third woe (h ouai h trith, feminine as in Romans 9:12 ) is the seventh trumpet, which now "cometh quickly" (ercetai tacu), for which phrase see Romans 2:16 ; Romans 3:11 ; Romans 22:7 Romans 22:12 Romans 22:20 . Usually pointing to the Parousia.
