In that day1 the Branch of the LORD2 will be beautiful3 and glorious, and the fruit4 of the land will be the pride and glory5 of the survivors6 in Israel.
Those who are left in Zion,7 who remain8 in Jerusalem, will be called holy,9 all who are recorded10 among the living in Jerusalem.
The Lord will wash away the filth11 of the women of Zion;12 he will cleanse13 the bloodstains14 from Jerusalem by a spirita of judgment15 and a spiritb of fire.165
Then the LORD will create17 over all of Mount Zion18 and over those who assemble there a cloud of smoke by day and a glow of flaming fire by night;19 over all the glory20 will be a canopy.216
It will be a shelter22 and shade from the heat of the day, and a refuge23 and hiding place from the storm24 and rain.
