1
O God, 1You are my God ; I shall seek You aearnestly ; My soul2thirsts for You, my fleshbyearns for You, In a 3dry and wearyland where there is nowater.
2Thus I have 4seen You in the sanctuary, To see Your power and Your glory.
3Because Your 5lovingkindness is betterthanlife, My lips will praise You.
4So I will bless You 6as long as I live ; I will 7lift up my hands in Your name.
5
My soul is 8satisfied as with cmarrow and fatness, And my mouthoffers9praises with joyfullips.
6When I remember You 10on my bed, I meditate on You in the 11night watches,
7
For 12You have been my help, And in the 13shadow of Your wings I sing for joy.
8
My soul14clingsdto You; Your 15righthandupholds me.
9
But those who 16seek my elife to destroy it, Will go into the f17depths of the earth.
10gThey will be h18deliveredover to the power of the sword ; They will be a i19prey for foxes.
11
But the 20king will rejoice in God ; Everyone who 21swears by Him will glory, For the 22mouths of those who speaklies will be stopped.
