CEB 1 I cry out to you from the depths, LORD— NRS 1 Out of the depths I cry to you, O Lord. CEB 2 my Lord, listen to my voice! Let your ears pay close attention to my request for mercy! NRS 3 If you, O Lord, should mark iniquities, Lord, who could stand? CEB 4 But forgiveness is with you— that's why you are honored. NRS 4 But there is forgiveness with you, so that you may be revered. CEB 5 I hope, LORD. My whole being hopes, and I wait for God's promise.
