Psalm 87

YLT 1 By sons of Korah. -- A Psalm, a song. His foundation [is] in holy mountains. NIV 1 He has set his foundation on the holy mountain; YLT 2 Jehovah is loving the gates of Zion Above all the tabernacles of Jacob. NIV 2 the LORD loves the gates of Zion more than all the dwellings of Jacob. YLT 3 Honourable things are spoken in Thee, O city of God. Selah. NIV 3 Glorious things are said of you, O city of God: "Selah" YLT 4 I mention Rahab and Babel to those knowing Me, Lo, Philistia, and Tyre, with Cush! This [one] was born there. NIV 4 "I will record Rahab and Babylon among those who acknowledge me-- Philistia too, and Tyre, along with Cush-- and will say, 'This one was born in Zion.' " YLT 5 And of Zion it is said: Each one was born in her, And He, the Most High, doth establish her. NIV 5 Indeed, of Zion it will be said, "This one and that one were born in her, and the Most High himself will establish her." YLT 6 Jehovah doth recount in the describing of the peoples, `This [one] was born there.' Selah. NIV 6 The LORD will write in the register of the peoples: "This one was born in Zion." "Selah" YLT 7 Singers also as players on instruments, All my fountains [are] in Thee! NIV 7 As they make music they will sing, "All my fountains are in you."
