What does the Bible say about God's promises? Scripture is clear that God keeps His word: "Does he promise and not fulfill?" (Numbers 23:19). God's Word is filled with promises from our Creator to provide and deliver, and 2 Corinthians 1:20 tells us that "no matter how many promises God has made, they are 'Yes' in Christ." The Bible is the ultimate source of truth, and God is faithful to fulfill all His promises. As you read these Bible verses about the promises of God, claim them over your life!
From Jeremiah 29:11 ("plans to give you hope and a future") to the many promises of strength, peace, and salvation throughout Scripture, God's promises speak to every season of life. Freedom from addictions, deliverance from sin and evil, financial provision, hope for lost and hurting family and friends, overcoming depression, recovering a marriage, good health, healing, freedom from fear and anxiety, and strength are just some of the blessings and gifts God promises to those who believe in Him.
Memorize the Scriptures below that promise God's help in overcoming what you are facing today. Pray over them and speak them out loud, and trust God to move in your life for His glory and your good. His Word is faithful and true!
