81 My soul faints11 with longing for your salvation,12 but I have put my hope13 in your word. 82 My eyes fail,14 looking for your promise;15 I say, "When will you comfort me?" 83 Though I am like a wineskin in the smoke, I do not forget16 your decrees. 84 How long17 must your servant wait? When will you punish my persecutors?18 85 The arrogant19 dig pitfalls20 for me, contrary to your law. 86 All your commands are trustworthy;21 help me,22 for men persecute me23 without cause.24 87 They almost wiped me from the earth, but I have not forsaken25 your precepts. 88 Preserve my life26 according to your love,27 and I will obey the statutes28 of your mouth.
