8 Therefore wait¹ for me," declares the LORD, "for the day I will stand up to testify.^a I have decided to assemble² the nations,³ to gather the kingdoms and to pour out my wrath⁴ on them-- all my fierce anger.⁵ The whole world will be consumed⁶ by the fire of my jealous anger.
