Ezequiel 37:1-10

Listen to Ezequiel 37:1-10
1 Veio sobre mim a m茫o do Senhor; e ele me levou no Esp铆rito do Senhor, e me p么s no meio do vale que estava cheio de ossos;
2 e me fez andar ao redor deles. E eis que eram muito numerosos sobre a face do vale; e eis que estavam sequ铆ssimos.
3 Ele me perguntou: Filho do homem, poder茫o viver estes ossos? Respondi: Senhor Deus, tu o sabes.
4 Ent茫o me disse: Profetiza sobre estes ossos, e dize-lhes: Ossos secos, ouvi a palavra do Senhor.
5 Assim diz o Senhor Deus a estes ossos: Eis que vou fazer entrar em v贸s o f么lego da vida, e vivereis.
6 E porei nervos sobre v贸s, e farei crescer carne sobre v贸s, e sobre vos estenderei pele, e porei em v贸s o f么lego da vida, e vivereis. Ent茫o sabereis que eu sou o Senhor.
7 Profetizei, pois, como se me deu ordem. Ora enquanto eu profetizava, houve um ru铆do; e eis que se fez um rebuli莽o, e os ossos se achegaram, osso ao seu osso.
8 E olhei, e eis que vieram nervos sobre eles, e cresceu a carne, e estendeu-se a pele sobre eles por cima; mas n茫o havia neles f么lego.
9 Ent茫o ele me disse: Profetiza ao f么lego da vida, profetiza, 贸 filho do homem, e dize ao f么lego da vida: Assim diz o Senhor Deus: Vem dos quatro ventos, 贸 f么lego da vida, e assopra sobre estes mortos, para que vivam.
10 Profetizei, pois, como ele me ordenara; ent茫o o f么lego da vida entrou neles e viveram, e se puseram em p茅, um ex茅rcito grande em extremo.

INTRODUCTION TO EZEKIEL 37

This chapter contains a prophecy of the Jews' return from captivity to their own land; of the union of the each tribes with one another; and of the glorious kingdom of Christ among them. Their restoration is represented by a vision of dry bones made alive; the place in which they were; the condition they were in; and the manner in which they were made to live, are described, Eze 37:1-10, the explication and application of this vision to the Jews, Eze 37:11-14, their union is signified by a sign or emblem of two sticks, which became one in the hand of the prophet, Eze 37:15-17, the meaning of this is shown, Eze 37:18-20, then follow promises of their return to their own land, in express words; of their being one kingdom, under one King, Christ, the antitype of David, of their sanctification; of their covenant interest in God, made manifest to them; and of his presence, and dwelling among them, Eze 37:21-28.
