In recent conversations, I have heard a couple of long-time Christ followers mention that they have a difficult time discerning God’s voice. How can we know when God is speaking to us?

There is a significant move within the evangelical community to remove the sense of guilt from the lives of people. We don’t want anyone to feel badly about themselves. But we ARE responsible. We have all sinned.

God has the very best for us but most of us never get there. We settle for blessings like money or security or other things we can acquire. While these things are considered blessings, they should be considered as second-rate blessings. In other words, you can do better.

It helps to consider your life with God as a wall that is being built. Good materials, the right tools, and sound construction principles are required, if your wall is to stand.
