1 Kings 16:13

For all the sins of Baasha, and the sins of Elah his son
By which it appears that the son trod in the steps of his father, and was therefore cut off:

by which they sinned, and by which they made Israel to sin, in
provoking the Lord God of Israel to anger with their vanities;
their idols, which had nothing in them, and cannot be of any service to their worshippers; and to serve such, and neglect the worship of the true God, and draw others into the same iniquity, must be very provoking to the most High.

11 Y sucedió que cuando comenzó a reinar, tan pronto como se sentó en su trono, mató a toda la casa de Baasa; no dejó ni un solo varón, ni de sus parientes ni de sus amigos.

12 Así Zimri destruyó toda la casa de Baasa, conforme a la palabra que el SEÑOR había hablado contra Baasa por medio del profeta Jehú,

13 por todos los pecados de Baasa y por los pecados de su hijo Ela, con los cuales pecaron y con los que hicieron pecar a Israel, provocando a ira con sus ídolos al SEÑOR, Dios de Israel.

14 Los demás hechos de Ela y todo lo que hizo, ¿no están escritos en el libro de las Crónicas de los reyes de Israel?

15 En el año veintisiete de Asa, rey de Judá, Zimri reinó siete días en Tirsa. Y el pueblo estaba acampado contra Gibetón, que pertenecía a los filisteos.
