53 Sirvió, pues, a Baal y lo adoró, y provocó a ira al SEÑOR, Dios de Israel, conforme a todo lo que había hecho su padre.

1 Kings 22:53

For he served Baal, and worshipped him
That is, Ahaziah served him, as his father had done, and his mother still did:

and provoked to anger the Lord God of Israel, according to all that his
father had done;
of which there is an instance in the first chapter of the following book; for falling through a lattice, and becoming sick upon it, he quickly died, having sent messengers to inquire of the god of Ekron whether he should die or not.
