1 Kings 3:24

And the king said, bring me a sword
The design of which might not at first appear to the court, and it might be thought strange, and greatly wondered at: what should be the meaning of it: and they brought a sword before the king;
his commands were obeyed.

22 Entonces la otra mujer dijo: No, pues mi hijo es el que vive y tu hijo es el muerto. Pero la primera mujer dijo: No, tu hijo es el muerto y mi hijo es el que vive. Así hablaban ellas delante del rey.

23 Entonces el rey dijo: Esta dice: "Este es mi hijo que está vivo y tu hijo es el muerto"; y la otra dice: "No, porque tu hijo es el muerto y mi hijo es el que vive."

24 Y el rey dijo: Traedme una espada. Y trajeron una espada al rey.

25 Entonces el rey dijo: Partid al niño vivo en dos, y dad la mitad a una y la otra mitad a la otra.

26 Entonces la mujer de quien era el niño vivo habló al rey, pues estaba profundamente conmovida por su hijo, y dijo: Oh, mi señor, dale a ella el niño vivo, y de ninguna manera lo mates. Pero la otra decía: No será ni mío ni tuyo; partidlo.
