9 Y vinieron ellos al sumo sacerdote Hilcías y le entregaron el dinero que había sido traído a la casa de Dios, y que los levitas guardianes del umbral habían recogido de Manasés y de Efraín y de todo el remanente de Israel, y de todo Judá y Benjamín y de los habitantes de Jerusalén.

2 Chronicles 34:9

And when they came to Hilkiah the high priest
To whom they were sent to advise with about the repair of the temple:

they delivered the money that was brought into the house of God;
that is, the high priest, and the Levites the doorkeepers, gave it to the king's ministers; which money was either brought to the temple voluntarily, as the free gifts of the people, for the repairs; or rather what was collected by the Levites, sent throughout the land for that purpose, or it may be both:

which the Levites that kept the doors;
of the temple; and received the money as the people brought it:

and also had gathered of the hand of Manasseh and Ephraim, and of all
the remnant of Israel, and of all Judah, and Benjamin;
they went throughout all the land of Israel and Judah, and collected money for the above purpose:

and they returned to Jerusalem;
with it, which the high priest took the sum of, see ( 2 Kings 22:4 ) of whom the king's ministers now received it.

7 derribó también los altares y redujo a polvo las Aseras y las imágenes talladas, y destrozó todos los altares de incienso por todas las tierras de Israel. Y regresó a Jerusalén.

8 Y en el año dieciocho de su reinado, cuando había purificado la tierra y la casa, envió a Safán, hijo de Azalía, y a Maasías, un oficial de la ciudad, y a Joa, hijo de Joacaz, escriba, para que repararan la casa del SEÑOR su Dios.

9 Y vinieron ellos al sumo sacerdote Hilcías y le entregaron el dinero que había sido traído a la casa de Dios, y que los levitas guardianes del umbral habían recogido de Manasés y de Efraín y de todo el remanente de Israel, y de todo Judá y Benjamín y de los habitantes de Jerusalén.

10 Y lo entregaron en manos de los obreros que estaban encargados de la casa del SEÑOR; y los obreros que trabajaban en la casa del SEÑOR lo usaron para restaurar y reparar la casa.

11 Ellos a su vez lo dieron a los carpinteros y a los constructores para comprar piedra de cantería y maderas para trabazones, y hacer vigas para los edificios que los reyes de Judá habían dejado que se arruinaran.
