7 Y durmió Azarías con sus padres, y lo sepultaron con sus padres en la ciudad de David, y su hijo Jotam reinó en su lugar.

2 Kings 15:7

So Azariah slept with his fathers
Or died, when he had reigned fifty two years:

and they buried him with his fathers in the city of David;
but not in the sepulchres of the kings, but in the field of the burial, or the burying ground which belonged to them, because he was a leper, ( 2 Chronicles 26:23 ) . Benjamin of Tudela ^F16 places his grave near the pillar of Absalom, and the fountain of Siloah, near the brook Kidron:

and Jotham his son reigned in his stead;
who reigned sixteen years; a further account of him, and his reign, we have in the latter part of this chapter, after the reigns of several of the kings of Israel.

5 Y el SEÑOR hirió al rey, y quedó leproso hasta el día de su muerte. Y habitó en una casa separada, mientras Jotam, hijo del rey, estaba al frente de la casa, gobernando al pueblo de la tierra.

6 Los demás hechos de Azarías y todo lo que hizo, ¿no están escritos en el libro de las Crónicas de los reyes de Judá?

7 Y durmió Azarías con sus padres, y lo sepultaron con sus padres en la ciudad de David, y su hijo Jotam reinó en su lugar.

8 En el año treinta y ocho de Azarías, rey de Judá, Zacarías, hijo de Jeroboam, reinó seis meses sobre Israel en Samaria.

9 E hizo lo malo ante los ojos del SEÑOR, como habían hecho sus padres; no se apartó de los pecados con que Jeroboam, hijo de Nabat, hizo pecar a Israel.
