So he went with them. And when they came to Jordan, they cut down wood. ] Trees which grew upon the banks of it, to build their house with, at least for the rafters and flooring of it, supposing the walls to be built of stone.

Te rogamos que nos dejes ir al Jordán, para que cada uno de nosotros tome de allí una viga, y nos hagamos allí un lugar donde habitar. Y él dijo: Id.

Entonces uno dijo: Te rogamos que consientas en ir con tus siervos. Y él respondió: Yo iré.

Fue, pues, con ellos; y cuando llegaron al Jordán, cortaron árboles.

Pero sucedió que cuando uno de ellos estaba derribando un tronco, el hierro del hacha se le cayó al agua; y gritó, y dijo: ¡Ah, señor mío, era prestado!

Entonces el hombre de Dios dijo: ¿Dónde cayó? Y cuando le mostró el lugar, cortó un palo y lo echó allí, e hizo flotar el hierro.
