Exodus 4:5

That they may believe
The elders and people of Israel; for this miracle was wrought not for the confirmation of Moses's faith; for, as Aben Ezra observes, the sign of the burning bush was given to him to confirm his faith, that it was God that appeared to him, and called him to this work; but this was wrought to confirm the faith of the Israelites in his divine mission: that the Lord God of their fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of
Isaac, and the God of Jacob, hath appeared unto thee;

3 Entonces El dijo: Echala en tierra. Y él la echó en tierra y se convirtió en una serpiente; y Moisés huyó de ella.

4 Pero el SEÑOR dijo a Moisés: Extiende tu mano y agárrala por la cola. Y él extendió la mano, la agarró, y se volvió vara en su mano.

6 Y añadió el SEÑOR: Ahora mete la mano en tu seno. Y él metió la mano en su seno, y cuando la sacó, he aquí, su mano estaba leprosa, blanca como la nieve.

7 Entonces El dijo: Vuelve a meter la mano en tu seno. Y él volvió a meter la mano en su seno, y cuando la sacó de su seno, he aquí, se había vuelto como el resto de su carne.
