Exodus 9:1

Then the Lord said unto Moses
The same day the plague of the flies was removed: go in unto Pharaoh
boldly, without any fear of him or his court: and tell him, thus saith the Lord God of the Hebrews:
speak in the name of Jehovah, the God whom the Hebrews worship, and who owns them for his people, and has a special love for them, and takes a special care of them, and is not ashamed to be called their God, as poor and as oppressed as they be: let my people go,
that they may serve me; this demand had been often made, and, though so reasonable, was refused.

1 Entonces el SEÑOR dijo a Moisés: Ve a Faraón y dile: "Así dice el SEÑOR, el Dios de los hebreos: "Deja ir a mi pueblo para que me sirva.

2 'Porque si te niegas a dejarlos ir y los sigues deteniendo,

3 he aquí, la mano del SEÑOR vendrá con gravísima pestilencia sobre tus ganados que están en el campo: sobre los caballos, sobre los asnos, sobre los camellos, sobre las vacadas y sobre las ovejas.

4 'Pero el SEÑOR hará distinción entre los ganados de Israel y los ganados de Egipto, y nada perecerá de todo lo que pertenece a los hijos de Israel.'"

5 Y el SEÑOR fijó un plazo definido, diciendo: Mañana el SEÑOR hará esto en la tierra.
