Again, the word of the Lord came unto me, saying.
] Either this is a new prophecy of another sword, distinct and different from that of the Chaldeans, even of the sword of the Romans, as Cocceius thinks or it is a further explanation of the former, and an enlargement upon it.

6 Y tú, hijo de hombre, gime con corazón quebrantado; con amargura gemirás a la vista de ellos.
7 Y cuando te digan: "¿Por qué gimes?", dirás: "Por la noticia que viene, todo corazón desfallecerá, toda mano se debilitará, todo espíritu se apagará y toda rodilla flaqueará. He aquí, viene y sucederá"declara el Señor DIOS.
8 Y vino a mí la palabra del SEÑOR, diciendo:
9 Hijo de hombre, profetiza, y di: "Así dice el SEÑOR." Di: "Espada, espada afilada y también pulida.
10 "Para la matanza ha sido afilada, para brillar como el rayo ha sido pulida." ÂżAcaso hemos de alegrarnos, cuando el cetro de mi hijo desprecia toda vara?
