Ezekiel 8:13

He said also unto me, turn thee yet again
Towards the north, as before; (See Gill on Ezekiel 8:6); [and] thou shall see greater abominations that they do;
or: "the great abominations"; for so the words may be strictly rendered; nor does it appear that what follows, though great abominations, were greater than the creeping things, four footed beasts, and other idols, or dunghill gods, portrayed upon the walls, which the elders of Israel burnt incense to.

11 Y de pie frente a ellos, estaban setenta hombres de los ancianos de la casa de Israel, y Jaazanías, hijo de Safán, de pie entre ellos, cada uno con su incensario en la mano; y el aroma de la nube de incienso subía.

12 Me dijo entonces: Hijo de hombre, ¿has visto lo que hacen en la oscuridad los ancianos de la casa de Israel, cada uno en su cámara de imágenes grabadas? Porque ellos dicen: "El SEÑOR no nos ve; el SEÑOR ha abandonado la tierra."

13 Y me dijo: Aún verás que cometen mayores abominaciones.

14 Entonces me llevó a la entrada de la puerta de la casa del SEÑOR que está al norte; y he aquí, había allí mujeres sentadas llorando a Tamuz.

15 Y me dijo: ¿Has visto, hijo de hombre? Aún verás mayores abominaciones que éstas.
