32 Y le habló amigablemente y puso su trono por encima de los tronos de los reyes que estaban con él en Babilonia.

Jeremiah 52:32

And spake kindly unto him
Used him with great familiarity, treated him with great respect: or, "spake good things to him" ^F19; comforted him in his captive state, and promised him many favours; and was as good as his word: and set his throne above the throne of the kings that [were] with him
in Babylon;
these kings were either petty kings over the several provinces that belonged to the Chaldean monarchy, that were occasionally at Babylon; or rather the kings Nebuchadnezzar had conquered, and taken captive, as Jehoiachin; such as the kings of Moab, Ammon, Edom these, notwithstanding they were captives, had thrones of state, partly in consideration of their former dignity, and partly for the glory of the Babylonish monarch; now Jehoiachin's throne was higher and more grand and stately than the rest, to show the particular respect the king of Babylon had for him.

30 en el año veintitrés de Nabucodonosor, Nabuzaradán, capitán de la guardia, llevó al destierro a setecientos cuarenta y cinco judíos; en total fueron cuatro mil seiscientas personas.

31 Y en el año treinta y siete del destierro de Joaquín, rey de Judá, en el mes doce, a los veinticinco días del mes, Evil-merodac, rey de Babilonia, en el año primero de su reino, favoreció a Joaquín, rey de Judá, y lo sacó de la cárcel.

32 Y le habló amigablemente y puso su trono por encima de los tronos de los reyes que estaban con él en Babilonia.

33 Joaquín se quitó sus vestidos de prisión y comió siempre en la presencia del rey, todos los días de su vida;

34 y para su sustento, se le dio de continuo una ración de parte del rey de Babilonia, una porción para cada día, todos los días de su vida hasta el día de su muerte.
