Josué 12:1

1 Estos, pues, son los reyes de la tierra a quienes los hijos de Israel derrotaron, y cuya tierra poseyeron al otro lado del Jordán, hacia el oriente, desde el valle del Arnón hasta el monte Hermón, y todo el Arabá hacia el oriente:

Joshua 12:1

Now these [are] the kings of the land which the children of
Israel smote
In the days of Moses, as Jarchi remarks, and as it clearly appears from what follows:

and possessed, their land on the other side Jordan toward the rising
of the sun;
on the east of the land of Canaan:

from the river Arnon unto the mount Hermon, and all the plain on the
east;
Arnon was the border of Moab between them and the Amorites, ( Numbers 21:13 ) ; and from hence to Hermon, a mountain adjoining to Lebanon, lay the country of the two kings of the Amorites after mentioned, ( Deuteronomy 3:8 Deuteronomy 3:9 ) ; and the plain on the east were the plains of Moab, which lay to the east of Jordan.

1 Estos, pues, son los reyes de la tierra a quienes los hijos de Israel derrotaron, y cuya tierra poseyeron al otro lado del Jordán, hacia el oriente, desde el valle del Arnón hasta el monte Hermón, y todo el Arabá hacia el oriente:

2 Sehón, rey de los amorreos, que habitaba en Hesbón y gobernaba desde Aroer, que está al borde del valle del Arnón, el medio del valle y la mitad de Galaad, y hasta el arroyo de Jaboc, límite de los hijos de Amón;

3 y el Arabá hasta el mar de Cineret hacia el oriente, y hasta el mar de Arabá, el mar Salado, al oriente hacia Bet-jesimot, y al sur, al pie de las laderas del Pisga;

4 y el territorio de Og, rey de Basán, uno de los que quedaba de los refaítas, que habitaba en Astarot y en Edrei,

5 y gobernaba en el monte Hermón, en Salca y en todo Basán, hasta los límites del gesureo y del maacateo, y la mitad de Galaad, hasta el límite de Sehón, rey de Hesbón.
