12 todo el reino de Og en Bas谩n, el cual reinaba en Astarot y en Edrei (s贸lo 茅l quedaba del remanente de los refa铆tas); porque Mois茅s los hiri贸 y los desposey贸.

Josué 13:12 Meaning and Commentary

Joshua 13:12

All the kingdom of Og in Bashan, who reigned in Ashtaroth and
in Edrei (See Gill on Joshua 12:4);

who remained of the remnant of the giants;
was descended from those that remained in Ashtaroth, after the rest were cut off by Chedorlaomer, ( Genesis 14:5 ) ; called there the Rephaim, as here:

for these did Moses smite, and cast them out:
that is, not only the giants, but the inhabitants of the above kingdom, the greatest part of them; for the Geshurites and the Maachathites are excepted in ( Joshua 13:13 ) .

10 todas las ciudades de Seh贸n, rey de los amorreos, que reinaba en Hesb贸n, hasta la frontera de los hijos de Am贸n;
11 tambi茅n Galaad y el territorio de los gesureos y los maacateos, y todo el monte Herm贸n, y todo Bas谩n hasta Salca;
12 todo el reino de Og en Bas谩n, el cual reinaba en Astarot y en Edrei (s贸lo 茅l quedaba del remanente de los refa铆tas); porque Mois茅s los hiri贸 y los desposey贸.
13 Pero los hijos de Israel no desposeyeron a los gesureos ni a los maacateos; pues Gesur y Maaca habitan en medio de Israel hasta hoy.
14 S贸lo a la tribu de Lev铆 no dio heredad; las ofrendas encendidas al SE脩OR, Dios de Israel, son su heredad, como El le hab铆a dicho.
