2 Reyes 15:13-16

13 Salum, hijo de Jabes, comenzó a reinar en el año treinta y nueve de Uzías, rey de Judá, y reinó un mes en Samaria.

14 Entonces Manahem, hijo de Gadi, subió de Tirsa y vino a Samaria, e hirió a Salum, hijo de Jabes, en Samaria, y lo mató y reinó en su lugar.

15 Los demás hechos de Salum y la conspiración que tramó, he aquí, están escritos en el libro de las Crónicas de los reyes de Israel.

16 Entonces Manahem hirió a Tifsa y a todos los que estaban en ella y en sus alrededores desde Tirsa, porque no le abrieron las puertas, por eso la hirió; y abrió el vientre a todas las mujeres que estaban encintas.

INTRODUCTION TO 2 KINGS 15

This chapter begins with the reign of Azariah king of Judah, 2Ki 15:1-7, and then gives a short account of the several kings of Israel, to the last of them; of Zachariah, 2Ki 15:8-12, of Shallum, 2Ki 15:13,14,15 of Menahem, 2Ki 15:16-22 of Pekahiah, 2Ki 15:23-26, of Pekah, succeeded by Hoshea, the last of them, 2Ki 15:27-31, and is included with the reign of Jotham king of Judah, 2Ki 15:32-38.
