13 Salum, hijo de Jabes, comenz贸 a reinar en el a帽o treinta y nueve de Uz铆as, rey de Jud谩, y rein贸 un mes en Samaria.
14 Entonces Manahem, hijo de Gadi, subi贸 de Tirsa y vino a Samaria, e hiri贸 a Salum, hijo de Jabes, en Samaria, y lo mat贸 y rein贸 en su lugar.
15 Los dem谩s hechos de Salum y la conspiraci贸n que tram贸, he aqu铆, est谩n escritos en el libro de las Cr贸nicas de los reyes de Israel.
16 Entonces Manahem hiri贸 a Tifsa y a todos los que estaban en ella y en sus alrededores desde Tirsa, porque no le abrieron las puertas, por eso la hiri贸; y abri贸 el vientre a todas las mujeres que estaban encintas.

INTRODUCTION TO 2 KINGS 15

This chapter begins with the reign of Azariah king of Judah, 2Ki 15:1-7, and then gives a short account of the several kings of Israel, to the last of them; of Zachariah, 2Ki 15:8-12, of Shallum, 2Ki 15:13,14,15 of Menahem, 2Ki 15:16-22 of Pekahiah, 2Ki 15:23-26, of Pekah, succeeded by Hoshea, the last of them, 2Ki 15:27-31, and is included with the reign of Jotham king of Judah, 2Ki 15:32-38.
