2 Reyes 15:8-12

8 En el año treinta y ocho de Azarías, rey de Judá, Zacarías, hijo de Jeroboam, reinó seis meses sobre Israel en Samaria.

9 E hizo lo malo ante los ojos del SEÑOR, como habían hecho sus padres; no se apartó de los pecados con que Jeroboam, hijo de Nabat, hizo pecar a Israel.

10 Entonces Salum, hijo de Jabes, conspiró contra él y lo hirió delante del pueblo y lo mató, y reinó en su lugar.

11 Los demás hechos de Zacarías, he aquí, están escritos en el libro de las Crónicas de los reyes de Israel.

12 Esta es la palabra que el SEÑOR habló a Jehú, diciendo: Tus hijos hasta la cuarta generación se sentarán en el trono de Israel. Y así fue.

INTRODUCTION TO 2 KINGS 15

This chapter begins with the reign of Azariah king of Judah, 2Ki 15:1-7, and then gives a short account of the several kings of Israel, to the last of them; of Zachariah, 2Ki 15:8-12, of Shallum, 2Ki 15:13,14,15 of Menahem, 2Ki 15:16-22 of Pekahiah, 2Ki 15:23-26, of Pekah, succeeded by Hoshea, the last of them, 2Ki 15:27-31, and is included with the reign of Jotham king of Judah, 2Ki 15:32-38.
