Zechariah 3:6

And the Angel of the Lord protested unto Joshua, saying.
] He not only gave his word, but annexed his oath; he called as it were heaven and earth to witness; and this he did to confirm the faith of Joshua in the promises he was about to make, as well as in the blessings of grace bestowed upon him; as the pardon of his sins, the justification of his person, and acceptance with God.

Zacarías 3:6 In-Context

4 Y éste habló, y dijo a los que estaban delante de él: Quitadle las ropas sucias. Y a él le dijo: Mira, he quitado de ti tu iniquidad y te vestiré de ropas de gala.

5 Después dijo : Que le pongan un turbante limpio en la cabeza. Y le pusieron un turbante limpio en la cabeza y le vistieron con ropas de gala; y el ángel del SEÑOR estaba allí.

6 Entonces el ángel del SEÑOR amonestó a Josué, diciendo:

7 Así dice el SEÑOR de los ejércitos: "Si andas en mis caminos, y si guardas mis ordenanzas, también tú gobernarás mi casa; además tendrás a tu cargo mis atrios y te daré libre acceso entre éstos que están aquí.

8 "Escucha ahora, Josué, sumo sacerdote, tú y tus compañeros que se sientan ante ti, que son hombres de presagio, pues he aquí, yo voy a traer a mi siervo, el Renuevo.
