The Kings of Edom

43 These are the kings who reigned in the land of Edom before any king reigned over the Israelites: ^{[a] 1} Bela son of Beor. His city was named Dinhabah.

Ver. 43-54. Now these are the kings that reigned in the land of
Edom
Which had its name from Esau, who was so called, ( Genesis 25:30 ) . From hence, to the end of the chapter, an account is given of the kings and dukes of Edom, in the same order as in ( Genesis 30:31-43 ) .

42 The sons of Ezer: Bilhan, Zaavan, and Akan. The sons of Dishan: Uz and Aran.

44 When Bela died, Jobab son of Zerah from Bozrah reigned in his place.

45 When Jobab died, Husham from the land of the Temanites reigned in his place.
