Luke 22:66-71

Listen to Luke 22:66-71

Jesus before the Sanhedrin

66 At daybreak the council of the elders of the people, both the chief priests and scribes, met together. They led Jesus into their Sanhedrin [a] and said, 1
67 β€œIf You are the Christ, tell us.” Jesus answered, β€œIf I tell you, you will not believe.
68 And if I ask you a question, you will not answer.
69 But from now on the Son of Man will be seated at the right hand of the power of God.” [b]
70 So they all asked, β€œAre You then the Son of God?” He replied, β€œYou say that I am.”
71 β€œWhy do we need any more testimony?” they declared. β€œWe have heard it for ourselves from His own lips.”
