Which refer not only to those in this chapter, but in all the preceding chapters in this book, and respect them all, whether ceremonial, moral, or judicial, which may be signified by these three words:

which the Lord made between him and the children of Israel;
the Targums of Onkelos and Jonathan are,

``between his Word and the children of Israel:''

in Mount Sinai;
or near it, in the wilderness of it, while the children of Israel lay encamped about it:

by the hand of Moses;
they were first delivered to him, and by means of him to the people.

Leviticus 26:46 In-Context

44 But despite all that, when they are in enemy territory, I will not reject them or despise them to the point of totally destroying them, breaking my covenant with them by doing so, because I am the LORD their God.
45 But for their sake I will remember the covenant with the first generation, the ones I brought out of Egypt's land in the sight of all the nations, in order to be their God; I am the LORD.
46 These are the rules, regulations, and instructions between the LORD and the Israelites that he gave through Moses on Mount Sinai.
