CHAPTER 16

Allotment for Ephraim (16:1–10)

1–4 These verses outline the southern border of the allotment for Joseph (verse 1)—that is, the combined allotment of Joseph’s two sons, Manasseh and Ephraim⁶⁰ (verse 4).

5–10 These verses describe the allotment for the tribe of Ephraim.
