6:1-4 Job’s perception of God as his enemy (13:24; 33:10), who like a cosmic warrior was shooting poison-tipped arrows into him, was colored by his intense suffering. It was far from objective or accurate. God is neither mean-spirited nor arbitrary with people. God is perfectly just in all of his dealings (Dt 32:4; Dn 9:14; Rv 16:5).
