38 Jotham rested with his fathers, and he was buried with his fathers in the city of his ancestor David. His son Ahaz became king in his place.^[a]

And Jotham slept with his fathers, and was buried with his
fathers in the city of David his father
Died, and was buried with the kings of Judah in their sepulchres:

and Ahaz his son reigned in his stead;
