Deuteronomy 11:18

18 "Impress these words of Mine on your hearts and souls, bind them as a sign on your hands, and let them be a symbol[a] on your foreheads.[b]

Deuteronomy 11:18 Meaning and Commentary

Ver. 18-20. Therefore shall ye lay up these my words in your heart, and
in your soul
Treasure up the laws of God delivered to them in their minds, retain them in their memories, and cherish a cordial affection for them; which would be an antidote against apostasy, idolatry, and other sins, ( Psalms 119:11 )

and bind them for a sign upon your hand, that they may be as frontlets
between your eyes;

19 Teach them to your children, talking about them when you sit in your house and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up.
