1 Chronicles 29:18

O Lord God of Abraham, Isaac, and of Israel, our fathers,
&c:] The ancestors of the Jewish nation, whose covenant God the Lord was, and who had ever been mindful of his promise to them, with respect to them their seed:

keep this for ever in the imagination of the thoughts of the heart of
thy people;
let the same disposition of mind always continue in them to serve the Lord their God:

and prepare their heart unto thee;
incline and dispose their minds always to fear the Lord, and obey his will.

16 耶 和 華 ─ 我 們 的 　 神 啊 ， 我 們 預 備 這 許 多 材 料 ， 要 為 你 的 聖 名 建 造 殿 宇 ， 都 是 從 你 而 來 ， 都 是 屬 你 的 。

17 我 的 　 神 啊 ， 我 知 道 你 察 驗 人 心 ， 喜 悅 正 直 ； 我 以 正 直 的 心 樂 意 獻 上 這 一 切 物 。 現 在 我 喜 歡 見 你 的 民 在 這 裡 都 樂 意 奉 獻 與 你 。

18 耶 和 華 ─ 我 們 列 祖 亞 伯 拉 罕 、 以 撒 、 以 色 列 的 　 神 啊 ， 求 你 使 你 的 民 常 存 這 樣 的 心 思 意 念 ， 堅 定 他 們 的 心 歸 向 你 ，

19 又 求 你 賜 我 兒 子 所 羅 門 誠 實 的 心 ， 遵 守 你 的 命 令 、 法 度 、 律 例 ， 成 就 這 一 切 的 事 ， 用 我 所 預 備 的 建 造 殿 宇 。

20 大 衛 對 全 會 眾 說 ： 你 們 應 當 稱 頌 耶 和 華 ─ 你 們 的 　 神 。 於 是 會 眾 稱 頌 耶 和 華 ─ 他 們 列 祖 的 　 神 ， 低 頭 拜 耶 和 華 與 王 。
