4 耶 羅 波 安 的 妻 就 這 樣 行 ， 起 身 往 示 羅 去 ， 到 了 亞 希 雅 的 家 。 亞 希 雅 因 年 紀 老 邁 ， 眼 目 發 直 ， 不 能 看 見 。

1 Kings 14:4

And Jeroboam's wife did so, and went to Shiloh, and came to
the house of Abijah
Disguised herself, and took this long journey, and found the prophet's house; which she did partly in obedience to her husband, and partly from affection to her child: but Abijah could not see; her or anybody else that came into the room to him:

for his eyes were set by reason of his age;
or "stood" fixed and immovable, as the eyes of blind men are; or the nerves and muscles of his eyes stood within the holes thereof, so that he could not see objects.

2 耶 羅 波 安 對 他 的 妻 說 ： 你 可 以 起 來 改 裝 ， 使 人 不 知 道 你 是 耶 羅 波 安 的 妻 ， 往 示 羅 去 ， 在 那 裡 有 先 知 亞 希 雅 。 他 曾 告 訴 我 說 ， 你 必 作 這 民 的 王 。

3 現 在 你 要 帶 十 個 餅 ， 與 幾 個 薄 餅 ， 和 一 瓶 蜜 去 見 他 ， 他 必 告 訴 你 兒 子 將 要 怎 樣 。

5 耶 和 華 先 曉 諭 亞 希 雅 說 ： 耶 羅 波 安 的 妻 要 來 問 你 ， 因 他 兒 子 病 了 ， 你 當 此 此 如 此 告 訴 他 。 他 進 來 的 時 候 必 裝 作 別 的 婦 人 。

6 他 剛 進 門 ， 亞 希 雅 聽 見 他 腳 步 的 響 聲 ， 就 說 ： 耶 羅 波 安 的 妻 ， 進 來 罷 ！ 你 為 何 裝 作 別 的 婦 人 呢 ？ 我 奉 差 遣 將 凶 事 告 訴 你 。
