8 將 國 從 大 衛 家 奪 回 賜 給 你 ； 你 卻 不 效 法 我 僕 人 大 衛 ， 遵 守 我 的 誡 命 ， 一 心 順 從 我 ， 行 我 眼 中 看 為 正 的 事 。

1 Kings 14:8

And rent the kingdom away from the house of David, and gave it
thee
Even ten parts out of twelve:

and yet thou hast not been as my servant David, who kept my
commandments, and who followed me with all his heart, to do that only
which was right in mine eyes;
who never was guilty of idolatry, but always constantly and cordially attended the pure worship of God, and was careful to do everything in that according to the will of God, whatever else he might be deficient in.

6 他 剛 進 門 ， 亞 希 雅 聽 見 他 腳 步 的 響 聲 ， 就 說 ： 耶 羅 波 安 的 妻 ， 進 來 罷 ！ 你 為 何 裝 作 別 的 婦 人 呢 ？ 我 奉 差 遣 將 凶 事 告 訴 你 。

7 你 回 去 告 訴 耶 羅 波 安 說 ： 耶 和 華 ─ 以 色 列 的 　 神 如 此 說 ： 我 從 民 中 將 你 高 舉 ， 立 你 作 我 民 以 色 列 的 君 ，

8 將 國 從 大 衛 家 奪 回 賜 給 你 ； 你 卻 不 效 法 我 僕 人 大 衛 ， 遵 守 我 的 誡 命 ， 一 心 順 從 我 ， 行 我 眼 中 看 為 正 的 事 。

9 你 竟 行 惡 ， 比 那 在 你 以 先 的 更 甚 ， 為 自 己 立 了 別 　 神 ， 鑄 了 偶 像 ， 惹 我 發 怒 ， 將 我 丟 在 背 後 。

10 因 此 ， 我 必 使 災 禍 臨 到 耶 羅 波 安 的 家 ， 將 屬 耶 羅 波 安 的 男 丁 ， 無 論 困 住 的 、 自 由 的 都 從 以 色 列 中 剪 除 ， 必 除 盡 耶 羅 波 安 的 家 ， 如 人 除 盡 糞 土 一 般 。
