2 Kings 10:32

In those days the Lord began to cut Israel short
To bring their dominions into a narrower compass; this was done in the days of Jehu, though he was so active and courageous, wherefore the hand of God was the more seen in it:

and Hazael smote them in all the coasts of Israel;
which bordered on his country, when he did what Elisha foretold he would, ( 2 Kings 8:12 ) .

30 耶 和 華 對 耶 戶 說 ： 因 你 辦 好 我 眼 中 看 為 正 的 事 ， 照 我 的 心 意 待 亞 哈 家 ， 你 的 子 孫 必 接 續 你 坐 以 色 列 的 國 位 ， 直 到 四 代 。

31 只 是 耶 戶 不 盡 心 遵 守 耶 和 華 ─ 以 色 列 　 神 的 律 法 ， 不 離 開 耶 羅 波 安 使 以 色 列 人 陷 在 罪 裡 的 那 罪 。

33 乃 是 約 但 河 東 、 基 列 全 地 ， 從 靠 近 亞 嫩 谷 邊 的 亞 羅 珥 起 ， 就 是 基 列 和 巴 珊 的 迦 得 人 、 流 便 人 、 瑪 拿 西 人 之 地 。

34 耶 戶 其 餘 的 事 ， 凡 他 所 行 的 和 他 的 勇 力 都 寫 在 以 色 列 諸 王 記 上 。
