23 耶 和 華 卻 因 與 亞 伯 拉 罕 、 以 撒 、 雅 各 所 立 的 約 ， 仍 施 恩 給 以 色 列 人 ， 憐 恤 他 們 ， 眷 顧 他 們 ， 不 肯 滅 盡 他 們 ， 尚 未 趕 逐 他 們 離 開 自 己 面 前 。

2 Kings 13:23

And the Lord was gracious to them
To Israel, notwithstanding their apostasy from him, and the idolatry of the calves they were guilty of:

and had compassion on them;
being in oppression and distress:

and had respect unto them;
looked upon them with an eye of pity and mercy:

because of his covenant with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob;
made so long ago he still remembered:

and would not destroy them, neither cast he them from his presence as
yet;
or suffered them to be carried captive into another land, as he afterwards did in the times of Hoshea.

21 有 人 正 葬 死 人 ， 忽 然 看 見 一 群 人 ， 就 把 死 人 拋 在 以 利 沙 的 墳 墓 裡 ， 一 碰 著 以 利 沙 的 骸 骨 ， 死 人 就 復 活 ， 站 起 來 了 。

22 約 哈 斯 年 間 ， 亞 蘭 王 哈 薛 屢 次 欺 壓 以 色 列 人 。

24 亞 蘭 王 哈 薛 死 了 ， 他 兒 子 便 哈 達 接 續 他 作 王 。

25 從 前 哈 薛 和 約 阿 施 的 父 親 約 哈 斯 爭 戰 ， 攻 取 了 些 城 邑 ， 現 在 約 哈 斯 的 兒 子 約 阿 施 三 次 打 敗 哈 薛 的 兒 子 便 哈 達 ， 就 收 回 了 以 色 列 的 城 邑 。
