2 Kings 14:15

Now the rest of the acts of Jehoash which he did, and his
might
His valiant and mighty acts which he did in his wars with the Syrians, ( 2 Kings 13:25 ) ,

and how he fought with Amaziah king of Judah;
a short account of which is given in the preceding verses:

are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of
Israel?
a book very often mentioned and referred to, as containing the history of the events and transactions of every reign.

13 以 色 列 王 約 阿 施 在 伯 示 麥 擒 住 亞 哈 謝 的 孫 子 、 約 阿 施 的 兒 子 猶 大 王 亞 瑪 謝 ， 就 來 到 耶 路 撒 冷 ， 拆 毀 耶 路 撒 冷 的 城 牆 ， 從 以 法 蓮 門 直 到 角 門 共 四 百 肘 ，

14 又 將 耶 和 華 殿 裡 與 王 宮 府 庫 裡 所 有 的 金 銀 和 器 皿 都 拿 了 去 ， 並 帶 人 去 為 質 ， 就 回 撒 瑪 利 亞 去 了 。

15 約 阿 施 其 餘 所 行 的 事 和 他 的 勇 力 ， 並 與 猶 大 王 亞 瑪 謝 爭 戰 的 事 ， 都 寫 在 以 色 列 諸 王 記 上 。

16 約 阿 施 與 他 列 祖 同 睡 ， 葬 在 撒 瑪 利 亞 ， 以 色 列 諸 王 的 墳 地 裡 。 他 兒 子 耶 羅 波 安 接 續 他 作 王 。

17 以 色 列 王 約 哈 斯 的 兒 子 約 阿 施 死 後 ， 猶 大 王 約 阿 施 的 兒 子 亞 瑪 謝 又 活 了 十 五 年 。
