22 亞 瑪 謝 與 他 列 祖 同 睡 之 後 ， 亞 撒 利 雅 收 回 以 拉 他 仍 歸 猶 大 ， 又 重 新 修 理 。

2 Kings 14:22

He built Elath
A port which belonged to Edom, ( Deuteronomy 2:8 ) ( 1 Kings 9:26 ) which very probably David took from them when he made them tributary, and which they retook when they revolted, and Amaziah got again when he defeated them; and this his son rebuilt and fortified:

and restored it to Judah;
annexed it to the kingdom of Judah, as in the days of David and Solomon:

after that the king slept with his fathers;
after the death of his father Amaziah.

23 猶 大 王 約 阿 施 的 兒 子 亞 瑪 謝 十 五 年 ， 以 色 列 王 約 阿 施 的 兒 子 耶 羅 波 安 在 撒 瑪 利 亞 登 基 ， 作 王 四 十 一 年 。

24 他 行 耶 和 華 眼 中 看 為 惡 的 事 ， 不 離 開 尼 八 的 兒 子 耶 羅 波 安 使 以 色 列 人 陷 在 罪 裡 的 一 切 罪 。
