53 祭 司 要 察 看 ， 若 災 病 在 衣 服 上 ， 經 上 、 緯 上 ， 或 是 皮 子 做 的 甚 麼 物 件 上 ， 沒 有 發 散 ，

Leviticus 13:53

And if the priest shall look
On the seventh day as before, after shutting up:

and, behold, the plague be not spread in the garment, either in the
warp, or in the woof, or in anything of skin;
but is at an entire stay, that it may be hoped it is not a fretting leprosy: so when men do not proceed to more ungodliness, as wicked men commonly do, but there is a stop put to their vicious life and conversation, it is an hopeful sign of future good.

51 第 七 天 ， 他 要 察 看 那 災 病 ， 災 病 或 在 衣 服 上 ， 經 上 、 緯 上 ， 皮 子 上 ， 若 發 散 ， 這 皮 子 無 論 當 作 何 用 ， 這 災 病 是 蠶 食 的 大 痲 瘋 ， 都 是 不 潔 淨 了 。

52 那 染 了 災 病 的 衣 服 ， 或 是 經 上 、 緯 上 ， 羊 毛 上 ， 麻 衣 上 ， 或 是 皮 子 做 的 甚 麼 物 件 上 ， 他 都 要 焚 燒 ； 因 為 這 是 蠶 食 的 大 痲 瘋 ， 必 在 火 中 焚 燒 。

53 祭 司 要 察 看 ， 若 災 病 在 衣 服 上 ， 經 上 、 緯 上 ， 或 是 皮 子 做 的 甚 麼 物 件 上 ， 沒 有 發 散 ，

54 祭 司 就 要 吩 咐 他 們 ， 把 染 了 災 病 的 物 件 洗 了 ， 再 關 鎖 七 天 。

55 洗 過 以 後 ， 祭 司 要 察 看 ， 那 物 件 若 沒 有 變 色 ， 災 病 也 沒 有 消 散 ， 那 物 件 就 不 潔 淨 ， 是 透 重 的 災 病 ， 無 論 正 面 反 面 ， 都 要 在 火 中 焚 燒 。
