Nehemiah 9:1

Now in the twenty fourth day of this month
The seventh month, the month Tisri or September, two days after the feast of tabernacles was ended:

the children of Israel were assembled with fasting, and with
sackclothes, and earth upon them;
which were all outward tokens of mourning and humiliation, see ( Joel 1:8 Joel 1:14 ) ( 1 Samuel 4:12 ) which they could not show during the festival; but that being over, they return to it, see ( Nehemiah 8:9 ) .

1 這 月 二 十 四 日 ， 以 色 列 人 聚 集 禁 食 ， 身 穿 麻 衣 ， 頭 蒙 灰 塵 。

2 以 色 列 人 （ 人 ： 原 文 是 種 類 ） 就 與 一 切 外 邦 人 離 絕 ， 站 著 承 認 自 己 的 罪 惡 和 列 祖 的 罪 孽 。

3 那 日 的 四 分 之 一 站 在 自 己 的 地 方 念 耶 和 華 ─ 他 們 　 神 的 律 法 書 ， 又 四 分 之 一 認 罪 ， 敬 拜 耶 和 華 ─ 他 們 的 　 神 。

4 耶 書 亞 、 巴 尼 、 甲 篾 、 示 巴 尼 、 布 尼 、 示 利 比 、 巴 尼 、 基 拿 尼 站 在 利 未 人 的 臺 上 ， 大 聲 哀 求 耶 和 華 ─ 他 們 的 　 神 。

5 利 未 人 耶 書 亞 、 甲 篾 、 巴 尼 、 哈 沙 尼 、 示 利 比 、 荷 第 雅 、 示 巴 尼 、 毗 他 希 雅 說 ： 你 們 要 站 起 來 稱 頌 耶 和 華 ─ 你 們 的 　 神 ， 永 世 無 盡 。 耶 和 華 啊 ， 你 榮 耀 之 名 是 應 當 稱 頌 的 ！ 超 乎 一 切 稱 頌 和 讚 美 。
